i'd use it

ive got this idea i could do for sandblast's first stage. here's the 1st stage final point as it is now:

basically, i'd move the capture point and the little door the kart moves into down to the lower area like this (excuse my paintscribbles):
sbp2.jpg

it would give blu a shorter track to move along, plus they wouldnt have to go right past red's spawn exits to get there. also, i think red would have more cover for their spawn exits. m,y only worry about this setup is that the cap might be easy to spam since its in a shallow ditch. thoughts?

Just a quick shot from one of the buildings in Chill, Stage 2.
It's the building closest to completion, since it only needs a few more tiny additions, while most others are half/three quarters finished.

How the fuck is he supposed to play the harmonica

Also not everything has to be Mann Co., that logo on the guitar is unnecessary imo.

For some reason I stay away from Polycount, not because it's a bad site, but because the work there makes me look bad and I always feel discouraged ;-;

Well it's a site for professionals by professionals,but that's what makes it so fucking awesome to be a part of, everyone understands that everyone starts from zero and isn't a dick about it.

Finally submitted this (again). Now I can put it behind me and start something new! The polycount competition was where I learned how to model, going back to these "my first model" submissions and redoing them was fun, as I could spot the mistakes I made, and use my new modeling knowledge to correct them. Feels good.

Anyways, made a promo page this time:

Man, the Pony fans are gonna love that One Mann Band pack if Valve buys it.

I wonder, do they let you know if they're not planning to accept items you contribute, or do you just have to assume they've been rejected by virtue of not hearing back from them? Because if they don't, you should at least release it as a mod.

They don't tell you anything until you see it up on the blog or added to the game, Populus was certain has pack was getting in this update, Valve are even using his models in the free to play video as well as YM's medic set but another pack was used instead, he was pretty upset. The best you'll get is an email saying they liked you items and there thinking about using them.

To make matters worse, it's hard to tell if the site correctly submitted your items. You don't get a confirmation that it worked; it just sends you back to the original contribute page.

I hate that so much! You always are left in the dark as to whether or not there was an error because no matter what you do you always get a submission received notification.
