What was the first game you started mapping for?

3d: Red Faction 1

Quite a twist when going over to the source engine, in red faction you dig the map in a fully solid area. Still, i realy miss the classic geomod... Even though RF3 was good it just didnt have the ability to dig through the whole map

Jedi Knights: Jedi Academy.

Did some heavy map modding there, involving scripting, and hand-editing the entities with notepad.

Those were both fun and frustrating days. Then moved on to TF2.

I miss target_scriptrunner and "runonactivator" spawnflags though. Those scripts let me do some crazy things.

Oh, I actually did some romhacks for Super Mario World, if that can be considered mapping. So I guess SMW was my first game.
