Just got it last night, so still getting used to it. Rockets are still best at medium to short range, but DH + Kritzkreig is highly awesome. I think I'll probably go back to the regular eventually since I prefer being able to hit people around corners with the splash. Have yet to juggle anyone with the DH.

Buff Banner

Don't have it, but freaking love this when it goes off. I probably won't use it when I get one as I wouldn't want to trade in my shotgun.

Gunboats

Eh. Again, means no shotgun, and I don't really rocket jump that often except to get in a good position on a round start.

Equalizer

Mostly use this to rush to the frontline and then to retreat for health. Surprised a demo and a medic with it and killed them both in short order, but other than that lucky opportunity, "low health + melee + risk of death by random fire" means few melee kills. Can't imagine how this can be considered overpowered given how fragile a soldier is when he's at his best with it.

Scottish Resistance

Hadn't seen enough people using it. I've got three from random drops but haven't tried it yet.

Eyelander & Chargin' Targe

Don't have either yet. The damage resistance is IMO not overpowered: I've gotten quite a lot of shotgun kills on demos since the update. The problem with this combo is the speed boost. Can't count the number of times a demoman has charged me from across the map and taken my head in the time it takes the switch weapon animation to play.

When a melee demoman can be compared to a living sniper's bullet, something is wrong.

Honestly, I'm not accurate enough to use this as a soldier but in the right hands, it's beastly. I still think that the minicrits should only apply to it when someone is blasted into the air by something... not just jumping.

Buff Banner

If you can get at least one soldier to sacrifice his shotgun (a large number never use it anyways) then him and a medic leading a group into battle is almost unstoppable

Gunboats

Can't say I'm a fan of them. I don't have them, if I did, I wouldn't use them. To me, they're almost a novelty item.

Equalizer

My favorite weapon of the update. I do feel that it is OP though. I wouldnt be surprised if they nerfed it by taking out crits. otherwise I don't see how anyone would use the shovel instead. My new favorite tactic is using this to run for health when I'm hurt, seeing as I run as fast as a scout and if I suprise someone, they're dead in one hit.

Scottish Resistance

Haven't seen it used that much. No comment until further studies have been done

Eyelander & Chargin' Targe

For me, the damage resistance is OP. It gives a demoman virtually 650 HP vs. a soldier. That's absurd. Also, I think they should fix the charge sound so that it isnt the sound of a dying demoman.

Wow, today I got the gunboats. I was idling last light (I don't play tf2 that often so I would take weeks otherwise) I was actually hoping for a camera beard wich has become normal-weapon-rare since it became a misc item. but instead I got 3 weapon drops, of wich 2 were gunboats :D

gunboats
useless, you get 75% less selfdamage, but really it is not worth it. The only nice thing about it is that you can survive the equalizer taunt, other than that it is just a wast of your secondary slot.

DH
I like it because I feel like a sniper, but watching the newly added above-head damage indicator, a direct hit at medium distance does ....57 damage.. Which is slightly pitiful. Good for picking off enemies, and great with minicrits or crits, as long as you can hit it's fine but the explosion radius makes the 'pop' a lot harder, thus the minicrits all the more rare.. Useful for scouts who love to jump, any poor bastard who jumped, or some soldier/demo whos RJ/SJing to come after you.

BB
I had one night of fun on pipeline when people actually rushed, people being fellow soldiers, and we dominated, but most of the time it's a small group of people that doesn't really accomplish much.

Equalizer
Terr said it for me. Particularly useful for hit-and-run strategies as well as daring escapes from stupid mistakes. Sometimes I forget I can't double jump. Also good for eyelander demo 1v1's. Defending against one is simple, shoot the shit out of them before they get to you.

GB
Umm.. Useless? Maybe for some random jumping but... I'd rather a real weapon, not an accessory.

EL
I. HATE. THIS. WEAPON. It's only purpose is to serve demo's who use the Charge n' Targe. Also, as a man who respects his melee, I say that the Eyelander, for its REDICULOUS distance (thankfully most demos using it are idiots and don't take advantage of it, when they do it'll be a sad day for the rest of us) has an almost as rediculous rate of fire(?) or whatever you would call it. Point being, no one can swing a damn broadsword like an aluminum bat.

Cn'D
The fuel for a new type of demo, what a w+m1 is to pyros, the Cn'D is to demos. All it ends in is a giant mosh pit of melee, where 1 or 2 demos actually get out alive. Replaces my much loved sticky launcher, which actually required some skill for the in-air detonations (it was an art form). I will say this: it's a lot of fun to juke out stupid W+m1/m2 demos and watch them run past you as a scout or spy. Particularly the latter when you cut their friend to pieces after they so kindly left the immediate area, leaving them only to watch.

SR
Don't have it, haven't seen it too often. From what I can tell it's basically yet another backburner-esque weapon for the demo, bringing out in my opinion the worst in sticky grenades (camping). I think it gives a normally bad demo way too much power in any given situation.
