Different people have noticed these super-weapons, in different servers, only in the hands of Valve employees...

Entirely possible, and borderline-plausible (if they need to test all the effects work) but if true it is not very sportsmanlike.

Could also be some contract programmer or guy who knows he's leaving and doesn't care :p

Yeah this is probably not hacking. Just testing future updated perhaps. Love the valve medigun tho, its nice that it has a custom beam gun, unless thats a mod the client has.

Also, wtf adding health when fired? :p

Anton: If they're trying to test the ability to remotely (via steam cloud) inject new weapons with new capabilities, then it's possible that it's being dynamically loaded over the network.

I notice all of them have the exact same descriptions for their effects. :p If that's testing future features then they're severely OP-ing every single one of those weapons. It just doesn't seem right - none of the previous weapon upgrades are anything like that. Plus the changes make no contextual sense (why does a stickybomb launcher give you health and act as a flame retardant?).

I say whatever it is, it's most definitely not trying out potential upgrades to those particular weapons.

Ignore all the crappynes, please. It was my intention to show the weapon while playing first, but I later turned spectator, trying to find him (look for GreenMarine). I then said 'screw it' and went NoClip Spec mode instead. You can see him finding the Flamer right after my first/second kill (I WAS killed, by the way. My ping skyrockets in that server).

I don't think I'd feel comfortable allowing even valve employees using these items on my community's TF2 server...honestly I believe this would promote unfair play amongst our players, and this is something I absolutely have to ban for. Even if they are valve employees...that's not acceptable.

Until the weapon system is out and in place, we simply cannot allow people to have unfair advantages over other players...it just goes against our policies.

I (and undoubtedly others) proposed a while back that Valve can do whatever the heck kind of weapon stuff they want as long as a cvar disables it.

So tf_disable_unique_weapons would make the "FAN of +3 foo -2 bar" just act as the FAN, etc, squishing everything down to it's base archetype. (In other words, the weapons etc. we have now.)

Or else it'll be so exclusive that it won't really be "community"... Maybe they just want to have a category for the Soldier's Medal.
