One question, Swordfish. Am I allowed to start creating the robot templates before the Jam starts, since I always create the templates for robots before I start making the mission.

Awww, never mind. :) I'd make one myself but I don't think I really have the patience. I'll be excited to see what you've got planned! Friend me on Steam if you want!

If you want- people often use valve pop files for testing, I think this is pretty much the same.

well, i would like a collab, (sorry, i am a terrible reader) i own myself a Small trading community, and the business of the community is kinda down, due to constantly kicking guys from my server

I know, Passwords, but its handy though, but kinda lame with only passwords

What I'm doing is I'm creating my own template file that has a bunch of custom bots in it. I think that should be ok, right?

I should make a bunch of generally useful props. Don't know what though.

Due to the fact that it doesn't take too long to make a mission, maybe a few hours, up to 5-6 to make a long one, I think I might be able to do more than one. :)

I haven't had a chance to read through the thread, but I'd really love to do this! If anyone wants to collab I'd be more than willing, just let me know! I'll give the thread a more thorough read later to see what other ideas others have. :)

Update on brushwork editor preparations - I now have a program that can load some of TF2's environment textures! Doesn't support most of the newer ones, but I'll probably be able to get those working in a few days.

    Reposting this:

So, there's a new countdown for this 72hr contest - it's much larger so it should look a little nicer when it's scaled about in your streams, it's also slightly more customizable than the old one.

    It looks like this:

    Some steps

Here are some of the customization options available, these work by appending to the URL's Query String (these are case sensitive!):
    • noaudio stops audio from playing
    • targetTime changes the time the countdown is counting down to. Use the following values for the alternate weekends:
      • 18th Jan- 1453140000
      • 25th Jan -1453744800
      • Any other unix timestamp within the next 24.8 days should work.
    • TVImage - A Link to an image to use as the TV background
    • TVColor - The background color of the TV, set to transparent if you'd like to put something dynamic under the screen in your stream.
    • transform - Advanced, this uses CSS transforms to allow you to change the size, rotation and shape of the countdown. You can use any of the values here: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_transform.asp - for example "transform=rotate(-10deg) translate(0, 50px)" gives the clock a slight rotation. You will need to modify the height/width to make this fit.
    Example link: http://magic.geit.uk/countdown/new_cd/?noaudio&targetTime=1453744800&TVImage=http://geit.uk/uploads/tv_bg.png&TVColor=black
