TF2 updates?

Is there going to be anymore updates to TF2 besides just adding in medals? It's going on the middle of July and the first drop we get is still a 2018 Winter case. I sent in a message on the official TF2 website about it a week ago and got no response.

Has anyone else heard anything?

I think the fact that the TF team not talking shows that they are working on something important, otherwise a member would go on and communicate, that's because of how Valve works, an employee works on what he want, if an employee wish to, he could communicate or he could be working on the core of the project.
So yes, as long as Valve doesn't clearly states "developpement will be stop" there will be updates, don't expect updates to be regular though.
