An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:

  • Fixed an exploit related to taunting and then dying on the final control point of payload maps
  • Fixed a bug that was creating Specialized Killstreak Kits that could be applied to any item
  • Fixed items that are removed from the Steam Community Market having the trade restriction removed
  • Temporarily reverted Valve official quickplay and matchmaking servers not being listed in the server browser while we look into this further

Yes! I don't know why they removed the Quickplay servers from the server list; it made going to the right map for contracts a hassle. Hope it stays like this, or they properly integrate what they were trying to achieve in the first place.

Because it was one more thing going against community servers. Being lost in a sea of Valve servers made them even less likely to be connected to.

It was a hamfisted fix, but it was an attempt to not kill community servers further, so it was a good sign.

They should just add a checkbox or something that you need to click to see the Valve servers. Waiting for the list that the quickplay menu can give you sucks.

Which is probably what they'll do, but that requires more code than simply hiding them. and it's july 4th
