I should go into 3d flat more often, I can see lots of things that could need func_detailing in my maps (especially second image!)

I wanted to bump up this thread again, because there seems to be a lot of new mappers around, and seeing how others do their detailing is very helpful.

Thats awesome stuff rav. Really amazing to see just how much dissapears in panic's third stage, i would never have imagined you'd func_detail so much!

Damn right you should. Nightfall only takes about 3 minutes on VIS for all 3 stages but it's completely optimised using the power of hints and the view frustum visblocking awesome of areaportals!
