Just played a7a in an imp but didn't have time to fully explain what I meant in the feedback. This was the first time I've played this map and think I was playing soldier for most/all of it.
It felt like nearly all the fights were happening slightly too far apart. As in the combat distance between players. Blue arrows were roughly where defenders saw the attackers coming from, but all of these distances felt slightly too far away for a satisfying fight, it was more spam/chip damage. I noticed this most when attacking/defending the beach area around the umbrellas.
Maybe if the whole map was kinda squished a bit along the direction of the red line? Might help make some of the routes to mid feel less like you need to cross through no man's land.
I liked the layout overall and had fun, it just felt slightly off in terms of combat distances.
