Hi! I present Rotunda, a King of the Hill map set in an abandoned steam engine workshop. This map is directly based on the mapping technique developed by Kungfusquirrel for koth_roundhouse. It has been made with a very large number of instances and a lot of trial and error.

Este mapa es muy rotundo, se podría decir que el punto de control esta en una rotonda, y ehm... no se me ocurren más chistes para el nombre del mapa :v

Terribly sorry, but my Spanish is kind of limited. This is about the map name?
It's named after this architectural feature, which is named after the latin word: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotunda_(architecture)
In German it would be Rotunde, in Italian Rotonda.

Yea, it was a joke about the name of the map, tbh it's something that you cant avoid, a word might sound similar to another word in other language that have a completly.

Tbh, i just said it cause the map's name sounded very similar to the word rotonda, which means roundabout in spanish, and of course that has a circular shape.

Lots of stuff happened!
-Rhamkin is now part of the team, having already made a wonderful new Team Spawn.
-Added roughly a million areaportals and other optimizations
-Completely redid all the displacements
-Added and fixed tons of clipping
-Replaced mid with a new, temporary design, just to see if this works better. We have more ideas, but haven't really settled on a specific shape yet.
-Simplified the underground area, added new entrance to it from the outside
-Removed route to the high...

New mid, experimental

-replaced mid with a new horrible thing, likely not to stay, but you never know
-plenty of optimization
-added additional route to the upper battlements, added bridge connecting the two
-moved some barriers and covers around, improved (well, worsened) sightlines throughout the map center
-slightly increased Spawn train speeds to improve flank accessibility

Hello!

I played your map for a bit and came across a few issues that would be better to show in a video rather than describe in words.
