this is a gorge style map set in a REAL cave. yes a REAL cave made out of REAL rock


i won't be detailing this, so when it goes into beta it will look REAL nice

Just a note: Rock textures on square/rectangular prism pillars does not work. It looks weird. Think about it: Would you blow up a mining area with dynamite, then shore it with wood...

or

Carve (tehee) around some perfectly square pillers and use them to shore it.

I would choose the first, and so would the RED mining corp!

This map is too real for me. Just the sheer reality of the points makes me want to find out just how real this map is.

I just played it in an impromptu test. It's really fun, but it lacks signage. I believe their was someone complaining of getting lost like 3 out of the 5 rounds we played.

The First point blue has to capture is very small and high up. Either move it too the room under and make it easier to defend OR keep it where it is and make it easier to defend.

The 2nd point blue had to capture was difficult to push through (maybe it was because my heavy was being dumb, I was medic). There was a sight line from the 2nd CP to the outlet hallways.

The gameplay it self was solid for a medic. Oh and a side note, the server was filled (32).

So moving it to the lower room made it too easy to defend. All I can think of is restarting that section and trying something new.

There needs to be a nobuild in the blue spawn, or atlest close to the gates.

First point was way too hard to capture. You might want to decrease the blu spawn time.
