question about upcoming medal of 72hr jam 2018

so uhmmm the first question, the medal on the picture https://i.imgur.com/saeh0Dr.jpg is an medal that will be granted for those who submitted their work for coming contest, right? if is that so, this medal looks kinda gay tbh

No, the medal on the picture is only granted for the people who donated to the charity. People who participate in the 72hr Jam will receive the 72hr Jam Participant Medal, as long as they abide by the rules of the contest.
(and why does it look gay?)
