Hi. I am new to mapping in tf2, but I do have a basic idea of how the mapping process works. I will be posting here if I am trying to figure out some information and Google is failing me.
First problem:
I have mapped before, Its just about in beta condition but unfortunately at the last update something happened to the map and every time I load it about 75% dissapears... :O The 25% that stays is generated random (as far as I know)
Apparently no one seems to have the answer to what the heck is going on.
If it helps, its one of those longer map types, yet not too long. The original beta was too small so ever since I've been expanding slowly. As soon as I get to the 75% done, this happens. It has three floors and is basically based around the blus invading the reds own base. To take it back the Reds must get all of the control points and to take complete control the blus must do the same. Currently I have no logic at all (Im just making sure the map has no problems with the map)
This event makes me glad I didnt spend the time putting that many entities in the game. Or is it just an entity I'm missing thats causing this?
