A10- skybox + lighting update!

Most changes this version are visual

-Roofs closest to the point now match
-Added skylights to the spawn buildings
-Added much more lighting throughout
-Updated skybox & global lighting settings (Topside is now a night-time map!)

-Small ramp added to billboards outside of spawn
-Full Ammo placed inside tunnel
-Adjusted windows on Portakabins to give occupants some cover

A11- the mainline update!

-Right-hand main staircase to spawn was removed and replaced with inaccessible space; the right-hand lower floors are now entirely there to enable the flank route via the balconies.
-Left-hand main staircase is now the primary route to spawn for all players; the arrangement of the rear upstairs corridor and itself have been changed drastically to accommodate this
-A good 128 units of each building's horizontal has been removed from the left-hand side.
-The upstairs right-hand building now...

The Routine Finale update

This update re-arranges some staircases, arches, and other such entities around the main route to spawn.

An issue with a visible trigger brush blocking RED from using one of their spawn exits has also been fixed.

Some graphical and QoL fixes are still necessary but Topside appears to be approaching a Beta state.

Topside has entered beta!

I've decided Topside is ready to be considered a map in Beta, the first map of mine to ever get this far!

-Spawn rooms have been completely rebuilt
-> Spawns are now smaller
-> Spawns are now further left than they are right to imply a main route to spawn
-> Spawns are now higher up than before, hopefully making it obvious that the spawning players can take a direct route up or a longer route down.

-Decoration has begun on the city around the buildings atop which we fight
-> The theme is...

Beta 2- Dress your best update

Some Layout changes;
-Tunnel leading from the large staircase to the courtyard widened
-Stairs from lower floor to mid added to shorten travel time
-Top floor shrunk significantly
-Doors added to snug on the right-hand upper floors
-One-way door now replaced with open window

Visual changes
-Main Atrium sectioned using widowed wall with open window
-Doorframes added throughout
-Surrounding terrain added
-Skybox updated to Nightfall skybox

Lighting changes
-New lights added in new structures...

The Topperside update

-New route added to the very top floor, connecting each warehouse to the rooftop area with a battlement to stand in
-Spawn has been shifted further left to improve routing
-Flank routes have been changed; there is now a significant shortcut as well as an improved staircase up to the point (or rather, multiple staircases)
-General improvements to the number and colour of lights
-Significant optimization improvements made to the overall geometry

Skyboxing update

GAMEPLAY:
-Walls to the left of the ramps up to point have been opened up to allow fire in and out
-New route from battlements to the roof of the cabins added
-Additional health and ammo packs added to battlements

OPTIMISATION:
-Additional func_detail optimization
-Size and detail of skybox pared very much back
-Environmental details (road and pub) removed temporarily

GRAPHICS:
-Scenic office & housing buildings reworked in line with new skybox shape

B7 update!

-Staircase on right-hand side of spawn has been added
-Staircase on the far-right side that was present in alpha reinstated
-Main vantage points over mid now have doors which close when the corresponding team control the point
-New route added to the right of the point
-Spawn-rooms completely rebuilt

-Massive reworking of func_detailing should improve performance greatly

The Skybox Update!

Major Changes;
-Temp Skybox added (craftsmanship to come, this was my first attempt at making one work)
-New staircase to Battlements added to the right of main entrance to mid-floor
-Flanking staircases up to point replaced with more direct staircases
-Consequently from above, pits next to spawn from earlier versions re-added
-Windows into rooms next to point replaced with elevator shafts (this prevents Sentry nests from reaching Point)
-Bridges from battlements to top of cabins replaced...

B9; The big update!

Two solid months of work have gone into this!
(Literally, today is the 7th July and the last version was uploaded on the 8th May).

Layout changes;
-Reworked the main point massively;
--The two small warehouse buildings on either side of the point have now been completely replaced with a single, much larger warehouse that links both buildings.
--Lower routes under spawn deleted
--Cabin next to point removed
-Battlements extended
-Lower floor flank route and right-hand access route to the...

Two new areas have been added, overall a big update to the spawn areas and flank routes should hopefully facilitate better play around the point.

Layout changes;
-New area #1 is the new spawn courtyard
--Spawn building completely replaced
--Adds additional walk time to point
--Allows greater resilience against spawncamping
--All previously available flank routes preserved
-New area #2 is the new flank route
--Replaces unpopular deathpit by spawn from previous version

The beauty update!

B11 is an almost entirely cosmetic update- only one small gameplay change has been made.

Layout;
-The point has been changed slightly so that the ramp areas which once were a part of the capture zone are now staircases which are not themselves part of the capture zone.

Cosmetic;
-Various props added throughout, including faux windows on the side of the building.
-Windows near one-way doors removed
-Window added near staircase to battlements on the left
-Lighting updated to be more...
