You should adopt Valve's spawn times.

The problem I've had with lighthouse is that it usually ends in a roll, rarely do we ever get a close game.

I didn't find lighthouse overwhelming at all, though you may want to go with the longer spawn times. I haven't gotten a chance to play any Valve KOTH (and I won't for awhile) so I'm wondering how that changes the pace in practice.

With the previous system in Lighthouse the respawn timers were static but now that I'm using Valve's system the defenders respawn wave is twice that of the attackers. I'll see how it goes.

(I'm keeping the 1 second cap. \o/ )

Can you at least make it 5 seconds so a scout can't grab the point if you move of it for 2 seconds.
