also is there a way i can kinda make the tree make sense w/ there being a cave or something maybe underneath? or maybe some kind of long cyndrical cover that i dont really want anyone to be able to jump on that makes sense other than a tree?

Make the roof of the cave thicker and then get Heyo to model you a network of roots that match the tree and wind in and out of the roof and walls of the cave. Or something.
