Jump Maps

Can you recommend me some good solider jump maps and demo jump maps?

I remember I played one a few weeks ago, and that's were I learned how to properly demo jump, but I can't find the server or remember the map name I'm sorry, I wish i did so i could go back to it!

Jump_pagoda is a fun soldier/demoman that isn't too difficult until the later levels.
Jump_hobo2 is one of the very, very difficult demoman that is great. :3

hmm really depends on your skill level, but some great beginner maps for soldier are rj_rckteer and jump_rush

If you are a little more advanced, jump_propel and rj_rckteer_adv are a lot of fun.

For demo there's a ton of good maps. endurance is good, my maps hobo, bob, hobo2, rush are all good demo maps. ice2 is great for learning how to pogo.

jump_lite_a0 and jump_speed are also very good beginner/intermediate maps. btw you can find vids of almost any jump map on youtube to check them out.

It's funny because i've never found jump maps useful. Their application to real maps seems.. well i don't see it. But maybe just because i know all the techniques employed from TFC conc maps.

I'm not rediculous at rocket jumping, i've never completed a TF2 jump map, although i don't usually play them i've never had a problem jumping around in real maps to where i need to get to.

Before doing jump maps I would say that, but my soldier rocket jumping skill got so much better from just doing jump rush it's not funny. Night and day difference. And when I see some soldiers jumping across an entire area of Gpit in 2 jumps I realize there is much room for improvement.

Same for demo.

And the reason this is important is that if you can get to the middle point the fastest you can set yourself up in a very advantageous position of which to attack the enemy.

I also find them fun.

To be honest, the best jump practice one can have, is to get as fast as you can to granary/badlands mid.
