Is anyone else getting the Javascript error when using the sit? Do I have to update my java or is it the website?

Java isn't JavaScript. It was a big marketing stunt to intentionally make people conflate the two. If you get a javascript error with a modern browser, blame the site.

There appears to be no issue on the server side. I believe this may be client/user related.
