But you can still play mostly normally with them and have fun. Some humans are way worse.

I've been playing with the debug commands but it's hard to tell what they really do. I'm waiting for the announced blog post, maybe that'll explain some of them.

Use "tf_bot_force_class random" if you want scouts and spies mixed in with the rest of the bots. Off to crosspost this in the other thread.

I assume you can modiy the nav meshes a tad to make sentry spots and sniper nests, just gotta find out how.

Even on push CP maps, Red will act as defenders and stay huddled around their CP instead of counterattacking I've noticed.

Also snipers will get stuck in place when they go into scope. They can still shoot, but they wont move for the rest of the match

Just got an email from Mike Booth.

Thanks for the detailed info, Alex.

By the way, tf_bot_add does allow optional class and team parameters. The command takes up to three arguments of <count> <class> <team>, which can appear in any order.

For example, tf_bot_add 5 red pyro would add 5 pyros to the red team.

Dumb bots took -class -name -team parameters I thought, not in the same format as these ones.

Yeah, but when I tried using "tf_bot_add -class spy" a spy bot joined and the console said something about "unknown parameter -class" and so it clued me in.

The bots are great to play with when you can't get some people to test a map, but heavies...my god they are annoying. Usualy 2 or 3 spawn whenever I add bots, I've even had up to 5 on a team of 7. Only way to stop it so far is to enable tournament mode and add a class limit, is there any other way?

Also pyros and airblasting...it's physically impossible for a human to reflect every single rocket fired at them no matter what the distance. Anyway, now that I know how to make them spawn as which class, is there any way to name them?
