Huge update?

There is a new TF2 update out and it is downloading right now. The only problem is that it is downloading for about an hour with 540kb/s speed. There aren't that many changes. A bug? Something hidden?

Its 2,1GB big. :facepalm:

Anyone else bugged?

This is happening right now? I wonder what it could be... the polycount pack, mayhaps? though that wouldnt take 2 gigs, unless it had community maps also, which we would have heard about.

There's only a small update, you must've lost your files somehow.

Yea, the damn thing seized up my computer when steam ran on startup.

I blame Alien Swarm. I think people are downloading it by the thousands.

Yesterday I couldn't stay connected to the Steam servers for more than half a minute at a time, which made it impossible to use any of my unlocked weapons. It was so irritating.

I just had a phantom update for TF2 today, no news in the news or anything... Anyone else?

There was a small tf2 update. It changed the OB version from 53 to 54. It was optional on the server side of things.
