I've been looking into how people found the page that gave them the soldier medal so that I might be primed in case of another give-away in a future update. I have found many people proclaiming to have found hidden pages but none telling me how. Could anyone clarify how they came about discovering hidden pages in the TF2 updates?

If you didn't understand my babbling: How did/do you find hidden pages.

When you mouse over a link, image or otherwise (at least on Windows) you get the pointy hand. Someone's bound to accidently mouse over one of these buttons at some point, particularly when they're a part of an image/centre of the page.

Or you could just click and drag on the whole page and it reveals 'hidden' buttons.

Alternatively, people have been using google to examine the teamfortress.com domain and turned up one too many pages.

The magic of the tab key works well too (it highlights each button in turn, revealing even hidden ones. Also works for point and click flash games most of the time ;)) Unfortunately, I was asleep when everyone went mad for soldier medals so i missed out... damn time zones...

Yeah, valve should start releasing updates at eu times :(

You can also find the pages by searching the source code of the page for links (<a href=http://tf2.com/hidden/...). I should write a programme for this :D
