Because unlike red and yellow, colors like blue and purple are not very intense.
No one complains a map is too blue, even though every map you've probably made uses a blue ambient color.
any rocks I use will most likely be replaced with a custom crystal model for it, its just easier to plop it in for now.
is purple not partially red?
also having a blue ambient doesnt make whole the map blue, only shadows.
blue would be bearable tho i guess but i cant remember tf2 maps having this intensely colored lighting of any color and having people not complaining about it.
