Part of my interest in meet the team probably extends out to the entire tf2 universe all together. Did valve plan that after a few years the game would be where it is (e.g. back story with intricateish NPCish characters, hundreds of weapons, new game types, new maps, new strategies, RPG, Hats and more hats etc.) and if not, what did they think the game would be like now when they first released it (e.g. would it be dead, would it have turned into an RTS not RPG, was it going to turn into a hyper realistic wartime non-hat-based FPS simulator)
