Elevator issue

High - have a elevator well 2 of them - 1 lifts you up and the other doesn't

one above water - one in water that goes above the water (gets you out of my canyon river) but this won't/doesn't seem to lift you up for some reason

exact same configuration on both any ideas?

do they have unique names? trigger on touch settings?

how did you make thel lifts? with a func_door entity?

copy the properties from the working elevator and paste it to the non-working, then make sure to change names and parents.

if it doesn't work a some screenshot of the properties would help finding the problem

I guess u didn't mean everything were exact but just to mention it, the names and parents (if you work with parents) mustn't be the same for the elevators

exact same elevators - all using the same stuff - with this exception

elevator01, Elevator02 - 01 will lift you 02 goes right thru your body :-(

oh then it has no collision, do you use a prop as the elevator? check the flags, if "start with collision diabled" is enabled that's the problem

if it's just a func_door the flags "non-solid to player" and "passable" could be the problem

Ok will do screens when I get home - they are pathtrack type

I fixed the issue by moving the trigger closer to the elevator floor and putting a longer delay on it - just letting other know incase they have the same issue - it might be a solution for them!
