A crossroads marathon would be cool- i can never make the marathons, it seems, but i like the idea. They're more usually for testing than publicity though.

To be honest, marathon events are good for testing. Publicity wise it's kinda a shot in the dark. You'll get 24 people to play, and some more depending on how quickly people rotate in new players. And it wouldn't surprise me if 50% or more of these people have already played crossroads plenty, given the nature of our community tests (regular players).
If you're solely looking for exposure, I don't think a marathon will do much.
I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, just saying you probably shouldn't expect too great of an outcome.
