I made a map with 4 control points. its an attack and defend style map like gravel pit. My points capture correctly but im having a problem with the hud. Cp_a has an index of 0, cp_B an index of 1, Cp_C an index of 2, and Cp_D an index of 3. But for some reason the hud isnt displaying A B C D. instead it displys A C B C.

    why is this happening?

how do i decide which letter will be assigned to each of my control points?

How does hammer even know what game type i wanna use?

could it be that its displaying the correct HUD icon, but the control points have the wrong overlay material assigned? (aka wrong labels)

    Thanks,
this helped so much. (I had no idea you had to have the same group index)
