Fixed. But seriously, i agree.

I was unaware of a larger than normal (for a blockbuster) budget. But still, the incredibly volume of digital content is amazing, watching the mo-cap sessions is really cool too, they have a little boom with a camera on their face to film that the whole time and they even have multi-coloured dreadlock wigs so the cameras can follow their hair.

Finally saw it, wouldn´t call it the best movie ever, but it is certainly somewhere along the top ranks.
The story is fairly simple end every turn is well predictable.
Although i am pretty much not a fan of the fantasy aspect, i had no hard time living with it in that movie, i was plotted in well and almost seamlessly and had it´s proper place.
so, the story was solid, only a few characters over the top, and the execution of the whole package was extraordinary and mindblowing

go go go, watch it, james cameron is forgiven for titanic

(who else believes that mrs. weaver is still more than fully capable of making Alien 4?)

:D

5 ;) she was already in 4.

As far as I'm aware there are already plans for the next film after original plans were shattered by AvP coming along and stuffing stuff up.
The only catch is that ridley scott is going to be directing the prequel, not another sequel... so no Ripley. But, the fact that Ridley Scott is directing it fills me with enthusiasm for it (he directed the original)

But a 10ft tall, blue, tailed weaver was awesome :D

Shit story, amazing visuals, pretty much as expected. Awesome to see in the theater, but definitely not something I'd watch twice and/or buy on Bluray or DVD.

He did wrote the movie back in 1995 that is the reason why its so predictable.

In 1995 stories were more predictable?

Little offtop: Why Michelle Rodriguez's heroes are always killed in the movies? :(
