That was pretty much the only reason why I never entered the 72 hour contests, they never added anything to the contest and just made it more complicated

I'm waiting to hear back from a company to see if I got a job with them. If I do, I might not be able to host this, so someone else will. If I don't get the job, or they let me, no worries.

I think Sword is right that late December might clash with a lot of people's holiday plans. I won't be going anywhere so I could technically compete, but I'll be spending about 2 weeks at home with family and that means I'll have to basically isolate myself in my room for 3 of those.

So I vote early January.

95% (or more) of this community is still in school.

It'll be mostly over the weekend, but I suspect that more people will lose more time if it's during family holiday time than during school. Those that aren't in school are in college or work anyway. (And if I don't take a day off work, I lose waay more than a school day anyway)
