As an added point, if we have a "hub" for the livestreamers, can we also have on that page a twitter widget to display tweets tagged with #72hrmap or something.
If we can code it to do so, yes.
Twitter widgets are a piece of cake. Unless there's some significant complication in adding them to a webpage that also has livestream that i don't know about, it's literally copypasta.

I'll be on break from college, so Thurs-> Sat or Friday -> Sunday won't matter much to me. Maybe Thursday through Sat might be nicer, cause then I can still go out drinking late Saturday night. 
And I'm pretty much good May 15th on until around late August.

How is something like July 5-7 or July 6-8th for people? I could probably do it a week after that too. Or, do you want something like 27-29 of June? I'm avoiding going over 4th of July for the americans like to picnic that day.

I'd say start on a Friday and end on a Sunday. Early July might be fun: could theme it around the Fourth.
No real preferences on game mode except that I'd vote against 5CP for a 72hr.
I'd grade more papers for a Klondike bar!
