72hr Contest #3 - Questionnaire/Opinions

Monthleasepleasepleaseplease July. My exams end in June. I simply can't do it before July.
Restriction: Nah. Part of the fun is biting off more than you can chew.
Rules: Yes, but we need to tweak the voting system, since that was a little kludge, since it was last minute.
Streaming: Yeah, sure. And pretty much all day.

I think if we want peopl to WATCH the streams this time we should make the page slightly nicer than last years, which barely worked properly.

July, before that I have exams then a mission trip, which is the reason I couldn't enter last year

No way, it's more fun having A BUNCH of random gamemodes, non-standard gamemodes and so on.

When I remembered, I'd probably do it at night, like 4pm to 12pm (EST)

July. June would also work, but in July you're pretty much guaranteed that everyone will be able to join unless they're on vacation (their problem)... or Australian.

Alright, so, that was fast.

Here's what I'm seeing so far.

1. Contest be in Late, late June or Early July.
2. It should probably be a Fri-sat-sun
3. I'll need to set up a "Streaming HUB" a place for all the streams to be linked, and viewers can watch whatever one(s) they want.
4. Ice Cream is a plausible Prize.
5. The contest will be "official." Debating still whether or not the Mappers Medallion will be handed out.
6. The Contest will be announced to the public and open to the public.
7. Voting will be done using an Automated Survey system, probably a google survey. If there is a lot of people entered, there might be a preliminary voting and a second voting (again, not sure. dependant on size)
8. I hope to make a small website for announcements/information
9. If I enter I will dominate Aly in the face.

If people (you don't have to say it now, but closer to the event) would like to donate prizes, that would be awesome, since I'm a poor college student. (Please donate :/)

Would have to see if it's possible then but I do have an XSplit license so I guess yes. Again depends, ~2 hours probably fine

I want to say yes and no. Yes so there's some baseline if this is indeed a contest and so I don't go off and make some goofy-ass gamemode again, no so there's more freedom and I can go off and make some goofy-ass gamemode again.

What would YOU do for a Klondike Bar?
I'd go to the store and buy a 24-pack of Klondike Bars so I can trade them for the one you have. (True story)

Also, because there's no question for it:
Seems like it's definitely going to be a Fri-Sun affair. But me being a part-timer have all Sundays booked. I can ask off for it, but that just seems like a waste of a good vacation day. Can some of us do something like Thr-Sat or some other 3-day grouping?

Very late June - early July sounds very good, I think the 2nd 72hr contest also took place around that time.
And for a few of us that's when the final exams are over, and just before people start leaving to go on vacation.
