Have you tested it yet? Kind of early to scrap and redo unless you want to go in a completely different direction.
I think maybe you could use a couple tighter spots. (thinner hallways here and there).
Maybe the area under the hill point is too wide open.
But it's hard to say without actually playing it. I think the layout looks decent. Get a play test, see how players like it. Screenshots are good for opinionated guesses, and sometimes even for intelligent criticism,
but in game is the best way to see if it works or not.

the only complaints you got were that it might be a bit flat and it's blocky. Like you said, a1 and blocky, they go hand in hand.
You could add a few stair cases inside some buildings and have windows/decks above to add to gameplay.
