How do you make it so that both halves of your map are mirrored (like in KotH Viaduct)?
Thanks for any help in advance.

And if the map is a-symmetrical use ctrl I to change the orientation.
I'm almost at the point of doing this myself, what about after? I'm concerned with doors and spawn areas - these entities are named "red_x" - any way to change these names or at least list the named entities on the map?

Use CTRL-M, then put 180 into the bottem box.

select all the entities > right click > paste special > check the box near the bottom "make names unique"
this will affect output the same and save you a lot of work
FYI, Hammer as an tickbox option somewhere to restrict all rotations (done by dragging the handles in a 2d view using the mouse) to 15-degree increments unless you hold down ALT. Very handy.Numerical transforms are a lifesaver.
Will this retain references? That is, if entity1 gives entity2 as its parent, will that reference be retained? That is, if the system changes entity2 's name to entity2changed the parent of the entity1changed will refer to entity2changed.
yes, so long as all entities mentioned are copied
