I like this screenshot very much , the map was fun without the textures, I really want to see it with it's new decorations

Uploaded persia A4 !

My favorite image host is quite dead, so I've added some fresh screens from several locations of the map. I guess I'll have to switch to another one in the future.

So, I've a bit rushed detailing of the center, as this map seriously need more playtest love. I hope the new texturing and custom content will be appealing to you. I have now to take a little break, before detailing the ground and doing decent work on the central buildings ;)

I may try to get a even moodier atmosphere but now its gameplay, gameplay and I'll have fun with env_light settings later. :p

Vader and I are doig pre work about the main additional prop, the weather changing device the two teams are supposed to fight for.

I really like the unique theme of this map. Very clean and organized :D

You mean US test server ? I can, but I'm unlikely to attend the event itself. If I free enough time I'll try to release the A5 (sounds and displacements)

Oddly enough, I've resumed working on this map









Those strange things on the wall are designed to host some kind of spytechy battery/charging device that are progressively plugged in while the time decrease, in order to power the ion cannon. Some kind of gimmick to give a bit lore to the whole koth gamestyle.

Persia had been released on fpsbanana a few days ago, and has been incorporated to our server from this day on. I'm pretty happy with the gameplay now, with the addition of more catwalks, the point can be contested but is far from defenceless.

I'm updating the download link. For the next step, I'm going to detail the areas I've not looked after, namely the hallways betweens spawns and the central area. When I'll have done the custom skybox, the map may be considered beta.

I can't believe it too... The gameplay of the map is very good. The feeling is so cool. Can't wait for the next release !!

Detailing of bare parts is going on... I'm keeping a industrial look for the blue areas, while playing a bit with light sources, this way

The orange seems a little out of place in a Blu base, but it does make the style stand out.
