You know Acegikmo's Environment Gallery, right? Handy tool. Obtain direct lighting and fog from existing Valve maps... and Egypt. You'd think someone would never make it into something horrible. Well I didn't quite do that.

See? Fancy little light_environments, soundscapes, and env_suns. Fun stuff.

I'll just slap this sky around it because Cordons make me a confused man. They never work for me.

Et voila. Everything set to normal. The extra parameter was removed prior to the actual compile and is only there for comedic effect.

But what does this compile into, you ask?

2 Suns... and HDR. No specified light source due to spectator mode.

The dominant light source appears to be coming from the front of the map. Towards the map textures.

And that's it! I'm sorry, Acegikmo. I had to.

no ground with a pillar to see where the light is? sorry but this fails as an example of craziness.

It looks to me that it's compiled using the light_env with the lowest ID number in Hammer.

ur supposed to copy and past them into ur map... not compile it

cuz it is trying to compile like 10 different light_env and multiple suns....

Yeah, compile it with some ground and a pillar to easier see how the lights and shadows act in the map :D

I suspect it has compiled the lowest ID'd env_sun, perhaps the light_directional from L4D might provide us a way of having multiple suns in a map....

Well it actually turned out really lame. Too lame for pics.

Maybe I should make a ctf_props_library.
