I pushed an update to my map, tr_cornerstab. But the steam workshop and tf2maps algos dont seem to appreciate the hard work that I put into it, and fed me barely a few visitors. BUT in those visitors, there was a high subscribe rate (150/250). After a large spike in popularity (i got most of my subs from that spike) my map is now dying off from the public eye. It's just weird how sh***y maps in the workshop rank higher than mine.

I read this forum's "What to do after posting your first map" and the advice doesnt really apply.
I did try to get a few friends to playtest it, but only 2 people were enthusiastic about it.
Putting on /r/tf2 might get me banned for spammy links.

I appreciate your input on this. Thanks a lot in advance!

People release raw playtest blockouts of their levels early and later on they work on them more. Just keep working on it, improve it and release it later after the changes. Good maps take months to do.

Training maps are fairly hard to get popularized from my understanding, mostly because of their nature to be focused towards single player practice rather than multiplayer experience. One of the main reasons tr_walkway got so popular was because it not only was one of the first and most complicated training maps, but because it was simple enough to be used by all classes. Unfortunately, your map is in a much tougher spot to get popular, since it not only focuses on a specific motion of spy, but also due to the fact of so many more maps being released over the years.

In my opinion (and don't fully trust me on this), you're best hope is that it will spread naturally through the community. Sorry that I don't have a lot of advice to give.

I would have named it tr_trickstab for the other stabs that u can practice on it, but someone took the name already and made a sh***y map, and its still showing on the top of google results.
