This is a short-lived A/D project I did for Frontline. It never made an alpha release, though I think CP1 has something neat about it that I hope someone could use. It was intended for 3 stage A/D.

What exactly is the theme for this map? It looks to be a village / town setting.

What exactly is the theme for this map? It looks to be a village / town setting.

The 1st CP is supposed to be a church, then there's a trench system that leads onto a coastline that is CP2 (some heli-pad).
I had this concept that never made it in, where there were mini-capture zones before CP2 (using the intel_mini cap base model) where capturing it would call in like an air-strike to make for Blu pushes.

Right now though, it's just CP1 that I honestly like and CP2 is a sightline mess of trench-warfare and a coastline.



...now I think of it, I didn't really get to making the map I intended to for Frontline.

I mean, I'm not going to use steam until June, so I cant really take in your'e map until a while later.

I guess I could take it in or something.

Well it's going no-where, and it'll be right here if you wanted to by then.

Okay. I'll take it.

Don't expect anything spectacular. I'll put it on the imp server a few months from now, and use feedback from there. I was thinking of designing a theme for it, with the beach and the trenches I'm thinking about D - Day, but I could think of a few options.

Did you playtest the map during an imp?

Never play-tested it. It never reached a released alpha, and frankly I already know a few issues with it. Sightlines on CP2 would be one, you might need to redesign that area entirely if you want something good.
