Each time I try to launch it, it just doesn't respond and freezes up everything on my computer including steam. Whenever it stops it just closes, and I don't see the steam.exe process in the task manager.

I don't know what to do

Just tried reinstalling and it still does the same thing.

I already sent in a ticket but those take a long time

Reinstalling seemed to create a second steam folder, that one worked but has none of my games and everything else

You can drag your steamapps folder over into the new steam folder. That's what I did when I moved my steam install to USB.

Yeah if you move your steamapps folder and your steam.exe to a new folder and run steam.exe, it downloads all the missing files and effectively moves your steam installation to a new location. I used this method to move my steam folder to "D:\Steam\" so it's really easy to access.
