MvM Mineco v2.4

Another Minecraft map, this time for MvM.

This was another map made purely in MC, ported over to TF2 using an old program, then fixed up by an actual Source map maker. (specifically E-S, the man behind jump_minecraftia and also fixed up CTF Minecraft. Thanks again, btw!)

I used to run a private MvM server with this map, including custom Popfiles and a custom shop plugin of my own design, which eventually became obsolete by Potato.TF's sigmod or whatever it's called.

It has various custom bot spawns with two major bot locations, a singular Tank path, includes logic for whether or not the bomb respawns or not, and has a potentially broken custom survival mode. I could've done better with the last bit tbh. Finally, there's a Ghast Cannon that can be fired once every ten seconds with a melee-activated button, which might also be broken due to recent TF2 map logic updates removing burning status from the terrain objects. Not sure why.

Popfile notes:
  • path_track_tank1: The path the tanks follow.
  • spawnbot, spawnbot_front, spawnbot_spy, spawnbot_sniper, spawnbot_engineer: Where the bots spawn. Locations include a big BLU-team building, a smaller BLU-team building on a hill, on top of the main BLU-building for snipers, in a hidden alcove near RED-team spawn for spies, and Engineers have other locations I forget the details of.
  • logic_standard, logic_endurance, logic_survival: Map logic values. Standard has the bomb not respawn, Endurance has the bomb respawn slowly, and Survival prevents respawning in the main portion of the map. In Survival, if all players are out of the map, it ends as a gameover.
