After playing on it a bit, I like it but it does leave me wishing there was more points or stages of it to play (perhaps a good issue with a fun map?). I like the TFC style tunnels and overall compact flow. Thematically I liked the cozy winter village, simple yet effective alongside some well made custom content. I do commend the restraint for not picking an over the top theme for the level, and it feels like an early community accepted map because of that.
My favorite spots were final's house beside point (where sentries like to be), the highground around 1st point, the 1st point main choke, and the houses with windows you can shoot through or make plays by jumping out them with an ÜberCharge for instance. I didn't come across any issues while playing across the event either. Maybe maybe maybe more prop detailing in areas that feel bare (RED spawn comes to mind).
But overall: this was one of my favorites for this year's map pack update. A solid no gimmicks level that captures the classic style of launch maps while still feeling original in its own right. Excellent work and a respectable effort put into Fortezza.
