It's been a long time hasn't it? Last time I updated this map it was still summer break!
Well time flies fast and this map got put on the back burner for quite a while because i worked on a couple of other personal projects that are still in active development :3
Deepsea is back with a new fresh coat of paint and I am also gonna keep working on this map.

Here is alist of things that was updated:
  • With cleaning supplies that the mercenaries found, they were kind enough to clean up and mop up the floor in the telecommunications room (railgun room), the locker room and someotherrooms as well. Now they are shinninig so much that you can see reflections in them!
  • You can finally hear the beautiful sounds of the flickering light of the vending machines to the humming ofthe fluorescentlights (it means soundscapes are finally are on the map)
  • Added unique VOX lines (written by Mira and made possible by Sae)
  • Added the long awaited cubemaps that I promised way back in A1 almost 5 months ago
  • Much more stuff that I completely forgot!

the long awaited new version of dm_deepsea is here!
trap beneath the waves, the mercs have to duke it out in a abandoned research facility for the remaining essential supplies
be the last one standing and you might have a chance to stay alive until the rescue team arrives (if they ever get the emergency broadcast)
but before you you go out to kill your fellow survivors, you should probably the updated tour guide for this lovely facility so many people used to call home
so let me take you on a guided tour and explain it to ya



Crit Damage: Initial, 30 seconds. Respawn, 90 seconds.
Mega Health: Initial, 45 seconds, Respawn, 45 seconds.
Saw Ballista: Initial, 120 seconds, Respawn, 120 seconds.

Complete rework of the Saw Ballista Room.

Major Detailing and Lighting improvements

Improved clipping and overall prop collision impacting movement.

Slight room resizes.

Adjusted the water to allow players to get out easier.
  • changed the light bulbs that were deemed too bright for the human eyes into a more eco friendly dimmer bubls
  • cleaned up the floors, clipped the stairs and fixed countless amount of minor problems (thanks Sae)
  • opened up the vent that connects a staircase and the warhouse for cleaning
Minor changes:
  • stocked up the warehouse with one year's worh of supplies so the shelves don't look empty anymore
  • restored power to the communications room so the fancy holographic globe is now on
  • started repairs on the glass doom above the centre room where the krit powerup is located
