After three years, I decided to come back to this and make some improvements based on feedback. Better late than never I suppose. Here are the changes:
  • Major optimization efforts have been implemented to include the additions of much needed areaportals, hints, and fading props
  • Improved detail clipping and prop collisions around the whole map
  • Expanded the jungle background scenery around the BLU base and and middle ground to enhance the jungle atmosphere
  • Removed the trigger_push around the waterfall and replaced it with a more obvious fenced boundary to better match the original 2fort
  • Removed the floor grates that peeked into a useless room in the BLU base spiral entrance (this was mainly done to give me some precious leeway in brush limits)
  • Decreased volume of soundscapes by approximately 30%
  • Minor detail adjustments
