I am irrationally happy about how perfectly this fit. I was just looking for fence models and three of these lined up together perfectly. Didn't have to alter any geometry.

Is this why I don't ever get to the detailing stage?

Berry's covered most of what I wanted to say, but another thing I noticed was that the roof on that hut is rather thick. What is it, 16 units? Ideally you want a thickness of just 4 units.

Clever? I am not this. It's a custom model (well, 3 technically: windowed, non-windowed, and entrance ring). The rest is brushwork and existing props.

Ho, hum. I've been putting off some of my maps because I hadn't got the layouts down on paper. I didn't want to proceed until I had mapped it all out. But I realise I can't plan things fully without some experience about what works, or without understanding my capabilities in Hammer. So fuck it.

I expect a lot of the map to change in response to play testing. This is probably going to be my first non-Deathrun map that's tested here at TF2maps.
