Worst place to encounter the Witch?

I've found myself surprisingly obsessed w/ L4D demo. Was playing on expert, and we actually made it through w/out wiping. Got to the very last room, barely alive. And we see the Witch, sitting in the corner by a gas can. So we just hope that the zombie horde won't startle her. Flip the switch, and through generous use of the minigun + molotovs, we survive. In the celebration and aftermath, someone forgot about the Witch, and shines his flashlight just a couple feet away from her Lets just say it wasn't pretty, lol. So what kind of stories do you guys have about 'worse place to find a boss'?

In the safe room at the start of the subway level.

Myself and two other friends joined a server because we were having issues on another and lagging too much during the subway level. So we started fresh on a new server part way through the game. Well as we're waiting in the spawn, we suddenly hear the sound of the horde coming. That was fine, just killed them all from behind the door. Then we hear a tank coming. We had one guy on the previous server run all the way back to the spawn when the tank came, and the tank just knocked down the door. However, since we hadn't removed the bar yet, we were alright. Then we suddenly had a witch appear in that side room of the spawn. We managed to kill her, but then I looked back in there and there were 3 witches. So yeah, we didn't survive that one.

Anyways, here are two shots from that experience I have. One is just the blood splatters from zombies that spawned inside our room, and the other is of two of the witches killing one of the guys

By the way, there was someone on the server screwing with us, that's why all of this happened.

lolz...i have all 3 of those people added in the screenshot...
lets see...my stories are mostly going to be about how we got screwed...
1)
We leave the 2nd spawn room, do the standard tactic of killing the zombies from above, then drop down, the music cues up and a horde of zombies runs at us, 2 people collapse, me and the other person revive them, I turn around and witness a boomer right beside me, it vomits and we get to enjoy another horde, this time everyone but me collapses...despite me being the one vomited on, and in the chaos a smoker grabbed one of the people and killed them. That person then says the ai director is a douche, within 5 seconds a tank runs around the corner and almost decimates the whole team, I manage to get back into the spawn where he fails to jump up and get me. I grab ammo, walk out of the spawn room and a hunter jumps on my head...we lose, and never even reached the subway.

So...again right outside that spawn, again a horde charges, everyone lives, no problems. Im in the back of the group, just barely though, a smoker grabs me at such a perfect angle from above that my team can do nothing. They wander into the subway and save me, being that its close by i run back to the spawn...because honestly...i wanted a gun, that same smoker grabs me and strangles me before my team can save me...the smoker is finally killed and we make it halfway through the level, a tank spawns and kills the other 3 people on the team, im running away, then a smoker grabs me and pulls me right into the tank <_<

Made it all the way through expert, no one died, then we start to enter the final room. We hear a witch then a tank spawns and chases us back down the stairs, someone manages to moltov it and we manage to kill it with only one death, we enter the final room again and see a witch in the little room everyone makes a stand in, clearly we need to fight her so i grab the rifle and headshot her. She stands up, I headshot her again, she starts to run towards someone else, I somehow get another headshot. She turns, runs straight towards me, I body shot her, still alive, then someone on my team shoots her, she dashes to them, kills them and runs away. So, two people are left alive, we flip the switch and manage to survive, the other person picks up a gas can and we move towards the exit. I decide theres no way in hell im losing due to this gas can, so I shut the door in the other persons face. The gas can somehow explodes due to the door and kills both of us.

Not really a story, but there are alot of times when ive got triple teamed by all the boss zombies...its not fun

I must say, i never encountered the Witch or Tank in the first level.

They did Cpt Planet. After a while the guy forced us to the Infected, and we screwed around in a semi versus mode too.

I find the witch pretty easy to take down. If you stick together, and shoot good, the game on expert is not that hard at all.
In fact I prefer playing on expert all the time!

Tonight was the first time I played L4D and also with a group. So the single player is fine and I didn't try expert till I got to the multiplayer. Ug, first time around with the multi it was open to the public, friend and I have at least a decent player who knows how to stick with the group. But then we had someone like TheDarkerSideofYourShadow had, some idiot who wanted to head off on his own. He's already at the subway cars, rushing, as we are fighting the horde off in the safe house. Couldn't stand it, personally. The point of the game is to stick together. We're not Gordon Freeman, people!

We ended that, started a private game as a campaign for friends only. It was decent, couldn't avoid the witch blocking the stairs at the end of the sewer. However the WORSE attempt was just before that, just at the open area near the end of the subway cars, there was a horde. I lobbed a Molotov, they start hurting, but a boomer gets me from behind, so I get pinned under the recently spawned horde, die. But the fire is still burning, and then a smoker appears on top of the train, as a hunter pins Bill. The smoker catches Zoey (another friend) and drags her right into the fire, and my first friend runs in to stop the boomer, but the fires are spreading and he catches on fire. Thus the whole team goes down. Epic failure, if I say so.

Worst witch spots are inside the finale room, on top of the minigun and in the stairwell out of the subway tunnel.

Worst experience? When the AI director spawns a hunter, smoker, and boomer while running from a tank while trying to not disturb a witch.

Besides the troll, I encountered the witch in a pretty bad spot tonight. We were playing Dead Air, and we're doing down on of the office hallways. We hear a witch and boomer up ahead (don't know where either are. So I'm on point, crouched and headed down the hallway. Suddenly out of a dark room, I get puked on. I whirl and fire my shotgun into the room. Then the warning comes up that I startled the witch, who comes out and knocks me down. Then, I get tackled by a hunter :-/

It spawned an entire horde from behind a car parked in the middle of a street. Apparently it previously belonged to a clown.

Well, I think the AI director is also trying to replicate Versus mode, which assumes that people would work together to overcome the survivors. Of course, it's still to assume that random individuals would actually work together over the internet, but that's besides the point.

Yeah, dunno if it has to do with the director, and I can't remember which level it was on, but there was an alarmed car with zombies all around it, then the horde suddenly spawned from behind the car.... and someone hit the car then... Luckily there was a safe room nearby that we ducked into, but it was pretty close.

One of the things they don't tell you, is not to go through the metal detector in the Dead Air campaign.
