My map pl_intersection didnt work out so I started a new one, pl_wood. It has a two "dynamic elements", a scale and a seesaw.
Im just about to get it tested for the first time. Hope this time I dont fail of doom.

...I hope the name isnt taken.

What exactly is going on in that first screenshot?

Well that's the seesaw. In a building over a river(which I have not made yet) that is destroyed.

So... I'm thinking about scraping this map too. Any objections?

Honestly, I was going to say that this map has the most interesting dynamic element of any in the contest. Both of them, actually, but the counterweighted lifts especially. It's unconventional, but it's very intuitive what you're supposed to do once you realize standing on the side with the cart is wrong. If they ever propose a Team Fortress 3 and one of the plans is to introduce more player/world interaction, that scale is one of the things I'd point to and say "Hey, you mean stuff like that?"

I hope we get to play this again with more people soon to see how it holds up layout-wise.

Scrap everything past seesaw, look at official and good custom pl maps and see how they do their last areas and build from that.

Hmm... Ok. But should I also remove the "pit of death" under the seesaw?
