Why mat_picmip -10 was removed.

It seems people are taking what was said differently than how I did... when they said it "wasn't designed for it" I assumed that meant it was some technical engine issue that causes an instability when it ran with full res textures.

It seems it was a technical limitation:

They removed setinfo name as well, which is beyond annoying...

I must have my textures at such high resolution that it crashes my game or I'll never be pretty!

I'd never had any problems whatsoever at Mat_Picmip -10, though it could simply be because my PC's specs are outrageously high, or just blind luck possibly.
