I get the joke, but it's also true

I did it, and didn't see much of a change. If anything, I did get a more steady 9 FPS than before. Don't use me as an example though...nothing but new hardware can save me (even tried an FPS Config - Not only did I hate how my game looked, thus changing it, but I only got 7-20 FPS).

Fair enough, but I've always found virus scanners generally bringing more problems with them than they're solving if you use the internet carefully.

That said, I'm going to stop debating this, since the thread is still useful as pretty much everyone has scanners pre-installed anyway.

The QQ forums are useless because you have to wade through several pages of pure QQ (which drives you half crazy) before you reach anything half useful. If you dont believe me, go to the TF2 Pyro forums.
