I have a problem where when you stand in a specific area the water forces itself to become cheap when it should actually be expensive. I've added a "water_lod_control" entity and changed the fade distance, but that hasn't fixed it. I'm assuming it has something to do with visleaves. If so, how would I go on about fixing it? Any help would be appreciated.
If you've got two different volumes of water at different height levels in the same PVS or if you've got an expensive and a cheap volume in the same PVS, that can cause issues with the water. I'd imagine that water in the background is causing the issue (just remove one of the two water volumes from the map to fix it, or have a greater distance between the two)
