I don't see why you shouldn't finish it, I was planning on using all 3 variants. And it can't hurt to have a bigger range to choose from.

Finally finished my ivy model and it's LODs - submitting to Boylee for texturing tonite.
The final release will include three variations, each progressively smaller.
