I'm not, crashes during installation every time, even when Win7 ran it in some kind of compatibility mode.

Pretty awesome for them to release this to the community.

Of course, I need to actually finish something in the Source Engine before trying out another.

I plan to join a mod team after i finish my actual maps in source, and this looks really cool. Maybe i will join some unreal mod team, so that we sell the mod and get rich :D

I've been using Unreal Editor for a little while now and i dislike it over Source SDK, however it's nice that it's free saves me from having to buy it for my Level Design class this year :D

Did you read the stuff about the selling of it and how Unreal gets like 1/4 of all the cash you make?

I'm confused. Do we get the UDK and liscense for free? Or do we need to pay for both? Or do we get the UDK but not the liscense?

It's not that difficult - you get the UDK for free. You can make games with the UDK without paying anything. You can release the game without paying anything as long as you don't make any money off of it. If you intend to sell it there are two licenses - one is for 'indie' developers where you pay $100 for the license to the UDK and then you have to pay 1/4 of your earnings after $5000 of profit.

The other option is for professional development companies, because it's too expensive for most people. =/
