Unable to launch Hammer without steam because tf2 does not appear in common folder.

    So to fix a bug and use a resource pack I need to acess Hammer through Steam/SteamApps/Common/tf2/whatevers next. The only problem is that tf2 is not in the folder and only Half-Life 2 is. Couldn't find any help elsewhere so here I am. Thanks.

    Verify Game Cache from your Steam Library. See if that fixes it

    I didn't think Steam allowed you to install TF2 in a separate location from other Source 2009 games.

    validated still not working. Also it was GMod not Half-Life that was in common folder sorry.

    Did you tell Steam to put the game in a seperate location? Also, try to open the filepath by going to the game's properties.
